I like to use filezilla, it's a free and open source project, works well:

I really like how the site manager works, even allowing you to upload to a specific directory by default in a website on start up.

Filezilla is good, definitely recommend that one. On Windows I regularly use WinSCP (http://winscp.net/eng/index.php) and have found that once you get the hang of it it works really well.

If you use Firefox you can also check out the FireFTP plugin (http://fireftp.mozdev.org/). I find it really handy for quick little jobs where I don't want to take the time to fire up my full blown FTP client.

Lots of options there Smile
